Sipping dreams is a family-owned and –operated drinking chocolate company based in Eugene, OR.  The seed for growing our business was planted when Tom made Clover a cup of drinking chocolate from his own recipe, right before Valentine’s Day 2007.  We officially launched at the Eugene Celebration on September 12, 2008.

We developed Sipping Dreams with the intention of using drinking chocolate to bring people together, both personally and within the community.  We are committed to enriching people’s lives, one cup at a time. 

Our program of planned giving donates a percentage of our proceeds to select nonprofit organizations. For 2010, we have partnered with FOOD for Lane County and will be donating 2% of our proceeds to their organization to support their efforts to eliminate hunger in our community.

Drinking chocolate is relatively unknown in the United States, though very popular in Europe. Often confused with hot cocoa, drinking chocolate utilizes bar chocolate (not powder) as a base for the thick, rich drink.
